what other books did we grow up with that are out of print?.

No no..but I think that 50 paragraphes were changed, not deleted! It was only one or two paragraphs that were deleted as far asd I can remember

Thank's a lot Amelia! I think it would be good if you told a bit more about the addenda to the original edition.........as far as I know there were some 50-60 paragraphs that became obsolete after the year 2000

Yes, but I was wrong..there are two editions..the original one from 1987 or 1988 and a newer edition from 2006. I did not know about the 2006 edition.

by awakening inwell it was a very long discussion.
the elder knew nothing about the scandal, but he stated that he had no issue with it since when the case was brought to light, the society acted immediately to right their course.
in fact he thought it was a sign that that the organisation was indeed the "truth".

Yes, I know, Problemaddict.
Maybe those rumours were more frequent here in Scandinavia than in America. A lot of people from here went to the new Baltic states Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and helped the Society getting established. and things went on very easilly! Even with the UN people. I think that is the background to thoose rumours.
